We photographed Purnima a couple weeks ago with her friend Karishma. They wanted to do two full sessions together so we were in the studio for the first one and then went to the Park of Roses the following morning. Two combined sessions but a little different. Anyway, this post is for Purnima (look for Karishma’s a bit later).
First, here’s Purnima’s slideshow. There are some photos below, too!
We began with a few in her traditional Indian dress:

I love the pink polka-dot dress with her flute.

These outdoor ones are at the Columbus Park of Roses.

They wanted the sprinklers as a background in the early-morning sun.

Now this rarely happens. You’re not allowed to pick any flowers, of course. As we were going around the park, there was a group of volunteers who were pruning the roses. So I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask if we could have one for Purnima to hold in her portrait. They were very nice and clipped one off! She loved having one in her hands for this one.
