Trevor's Senior Portraits
Trevor is one of our senior reps over at Dublin Coffman. That means if you want some free stuff with your senior pictures, hit him up for a card to bring in to your session. We started out inside for some studio images. The black-on-black looks great. Then we switched it up with white and a change of clothes.
We headed over to Coffman to take some photos at the stadium. The Rock made a pretty cool backdrop! We also had great clouds for the photos.
Caleb is one of our last seniors of 2009. They weren't going to do them, but then decided to give us a call. He's a guitarist and felt most comfortable with one of his guitars in his hands. I was really happy about how the outdoor images look. The light was perfect. And the park really suited his personality. The whole session was relaxed and fun. This next image is one of my favorites. Be sure to check out Caleb's slideshow and leave a comment below.
Dana is another senior who waited a while to do her senior portraits. I really like these late-in-the-year sessions because we're not trying to get a yearbook picture and we can just have fun.
This tie-dye portrait turned out really well. I love her smile. We were in the studio for the first part of the session. Then we went outside. It was a pretty nice day for pictures. And then Dana went in the creek, just like Victoria did the day before. It was great. I've been trying to get people in the creek for years and no one has taken me up on it. I guess it's easier in March than in the middle of Summer. ;-) As usual, the images here all link to Dana's slideshow, so be sure to check it out.
We had a great time the other day with Victoria. She waited until the end of the year to get her senior portraits because she "doesn't like having her picture taken." She was a little reserved at first but we got some great images.
This first one is one of my favorites from the session. I think it captures her smile perfectly. I really like how her face is so bright in this one: Yes, she managed to get into the creek! It was really cold (being March, and all) and she nearly lost a flip-flop in the mud, but I think it was worth it. We then went back to the studio for some more formal portraits: Be sure to see her slideshow for more pictures. Leave a comment and I'll be sure she sees it.
Natasha is one of our "last minute" seniors -- the ones who need a yearbook photo right away before the deadline. ;-) She was a joy to photograph and has the most amazing smile. You can see it in this image:She was also up for some different poses and jumps, which is always fun.Our tie-dye backdrop was her favorite, by far!Be sure to check out her slideshow, too. Leave a comment and I'll be sure she sees it.
We had a great time with Allison's senior portraits the other day. She's another one of our late-in-the-year seniors and was so comfortable in front of the camera. Her smile was so relaxed and lit up her eyes each time. Don't forget that almost every image on this blog links to a slideshow with more from the same session. This post is no exception so be sure to see it. This next one is one of my favorites of Allison. And here's that relaxed, natural smile, again. Don't miss Allison's slideshow and if you leave a comment below, I'll be sure that she sees it.
Sara is another artist from the same school as Kelsey (see right below). She was up for some fun with her senior pictures, too. The series of portraits like this next one is fun to see in the slideshow. You know how some people have a "fake" smile they put on? Sara's is always genuine. I think this next one shows off her coat really well.
And there's that gorgeous smile again. It makes her eyes light up. Be sure to view the slideshow for more.
We've had a bunch of High School Seniors come through lately and it's been great. For the most part, the weather has been cooperative -- we've had some warmer days here and there.Kelsey came by a couple weeks ago for her senior session. She had some fantastic ideas and outfits.
She has the most amazing smile when she decides to show it off. She's not your "typical" trend-following senior. She makes her own style. It's a trait that many creative and artistic people share. She was willing to try anything I suggested and had some great ideas of her own. There are a lot of images on this post, but even more in the slideshow, so check that out, too.I really like the way her shoes and dress work in this next one.
Can you tell it's Senior time? We've been having a lot of them come through lately. Nicholas is Lauren's brother. He was here on Saturday and we had a great time. I really like how his car looks in this next one.He has a great smile. We had to show that he was on a rugby team. This is one of my favorites from the session. The leaves almost look on fire. I really like the texture of the old wood in this cabin. Be sure to check out his slideshow for more images.
Alicia was here a couple days ago for her senior portraits. It looked like it could rain, but we actually got a bit of sun. After being inside, we went out to the park, where the leaves were incredible. Alicia's eyes look so blue with this "cross-processed" look on the image. This next one has a little more "natural" color to it. We finished up on the fence by the creek. Be sure to check out her slideshow, too.
Yes, this is another Alex who came in a while ago. We did his brother's senior portraits a couple years ago and it was nice to see Alex this time around. He brought his sweet Les Paul for a few poses. He didn't want to jump, but we all talked him into it. His mom wanted some pictures with his glasses on, so we did a few.The weather was beautiful outside. I really liked the clouds on that day. The greens and browns of these grasses were perfect. See more photos in his slideshow.
Alex came in a few weeks ago and somehow I missed putting up a blog post. She was wonderful to work with and has a fantastic smile. First we went outside -- it looked like it could rain and we wanted to make sure we beat it. Overcast lighting can look so nice. Then we went inside for a few more changes of clothes. The bright polka-dots are so whimsical. I really like this next one. Something about her eyes. Remember to check out her slideshow.
Cristina's senior portraits turned out so well. She was another referral from Corinne, who's been our most active Senior Ambassador.
I love the way her eyes look in this one.
She's so relaxed in front of the camera.Another one that shows off her eyes. And the same one in black and white. This is one of my favorites from this session.
Be sure to check out her slideshow and leave a comment, if you'd like.
You probably remember that Corinne is a dancer. One thing we offer our Senior Ambassadors is a few extra sessions throughout the year. Corinne took us up on that offer and came in for a session that featured dance. Well, not this first image, but the rest of them do.This was a fun one.I love it when I can see movement in the portraits. Then we went out in the rain for some jumps and rainy-day images.Check out the slideshow and leave a comment below.
It's senior season around here, that's for sure. Suzi had some great ideas for her Sr. portraits and they turned out so well. She wanted some poses with flowers, but there weren't too many to pick from.So she waded into the creek a little. Then we went back to the studio. She was excited to bring her dog for some of the images. As usual, there's a slideshow to be seen.
Here are some of Katie's senior portraits. She's Bryan's sister and it was great having her here for this session.
Here's another sun flare image. I can't decide if this one works well or not. Leave a comment and tell me what you think. I love the blue sky in this next one. We got the wind machine (hair dryer) out for this image. And the tie-dye. People either love it or hate it. Katie really liked the idea. Here's a collage of a few of her portraits. Don't forget to check out her slideshow and leave a comment below.
Kylie is one of our 2009 seniors and is also a dancer. She was referred by Corinne to come in for her senior portraits. She has a wonderful, natural smile that you can see in her eyes.I've been trying to get at least one image with sun flare each session. It doesn't always work this well, but it's nice when it does. Of course, there's a slideshow to be seen and comments to be made.
Laura was here for her Senior Portrait session the other day. She was referred by Julia, one of our Senior Ambassadors. The weather was beautiful and there are lots of images to show for it. At the end, she wanted a photo with our rabbit, Marshmallow. She's doesn't care much for being picked up, but Laura was able to hold onto her for a little bit. There was rabbit fur floating all over the place.Make sure to see Laura's slideshow and leave a comment below.
We've had quite a few seniors coming in for their portraits and it's been a lot of fun. These sessions often go long, but only because we're having such a good time. There are more images in Cody's slideshow so be sure to see it. Leave a comment if you want. I'll be sure Cody sees it.
Kyle is another one of our Senior reps to Dublin Coffman High School. We ended up doing the outside portraits on a different day because it started pouring. In any case, the sessions went really well. Here are a few images. There are lots more in the slideshow.
Go Rocks! (That's "Shamrocks" for you out-of-towners)
This next image is one of the very few we did in the rain. If you look closely, you can see the streaks from the raindrops.
We had much better weather the second time around.
You might remember I photographed a dancer and her brother several months ago. I blogged about one of the pictures of Corinne earlier this year. Here's the image:Well, Corinne is now about to enter her senior year at Dublin Coffman HS and is one of our Senior Reps. Her session was a few days ago and the portraits look great! We couldn't have asked for better weather for the outside pictures. If you need to have senior portraits, be sure to find one of our ambassadors. You'll get some free pictures and a discount on your session. As I usually do, I put together a slideshow with more pictures and music and everything.Make sure you see the show. Leave a comment for Corinne, too, if you want.
Last week Jessica came in for her Senior Portraits and what a fun time we had. The weather was beautiful and we got some amazing images.
Doesn't the flare look great in this one. I love it. I'm so happy with how these turned out. Jessica is one of our senior ambassadors (senior reps) at Dublin Scioto High School so be sure to ask her for a rep card. You'll get some free stuff for bringing it in. Also, be sure to see her slideshow. This next picture was kind of an out-take, but I love the look in her eyes.
Melissa is our first Senior for the class of 2009. We did her portraits on Saturday afternoon, and the weather looked nasty. It poured for the first part -- luckily we were inside. Amazingly, it cleared up just as we were to go outside for that part of the session and it ended up being a beautiful day.Melissa is also one of our Ambassadors to Dublin Scioto High School. Ask her about having your Senior Portraits done at Squier Photography and she'll tell you all about it and give you a card. You'll get some free prints just for turning in her Ambassador Card with your paid session. You don't have to be a Senior at DSHS to take advantage of this offer -- you can be from any High School. So have your Senior Pictures done at Squier Photography. We're still looking for Senior Ambassadors from a few area High Schools. You can find out all about the program on this post. Now, I'm sure you all want to see her slideshow, so here it is.
Check out this new slideshow of a bunch of senior portraits. Just click on the image above. To see the full-sized slideshow in another window (instead of right here on the blog), just follow this link.

A couple months ago I was asked to put together the baseball schedule for the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves baseball team. We had done this once before, two years ago, and it was a lot of fun, so we were excited to do it again. The poster usually has a photo of the seniors on the team along with the schedule. This time they had a theme for the poster (last time they didn't want one). We were lucky in that we got one of the only warm days in March. There was a big snowstorm the day after these pictures were taken. In the top picture you can see the storm clouds rolling in.
A few days ago Jared came in for his Sr. Pictures. He was great to work with and we ended up spending a lot of time on his session. Be sure to see his slideshow and leave a comment below.
What a fun session this was. Becky came in all the way from Pickerington and brought lots of different outfits. I think we even managed to get pictures of all of them. We started outside because it looked like it could rain -- luckily it didn't. The light was soft and beautiful with the cloud cover. Then on to the inside studio pictures. Becky is friends with Lauren and wanted to a lot of the same things she did. I feel bad because I didn't get her slideshow up until today, so it's a bit longer than usual to make up for it.
Last Saturday was "Twinsday" for us. It's not too often that we get to photograph twins, so it was really amazing that we had sessions with two sets. First, Morgan and Mariah were here for their senior portraits. They each have their own slideshow (and blog post -- scroll down a bit to see them) so be sure to watch both of them. It turns out that I did a good job matching their names with their images. I would've hated to mix them up, though I'm sure it happens all the time. In the afternoon we went over to Gavin and Ava's house for their newborn portraits. It was easier to tell these two apart -- Gavin's a bit bigger. And check out that arm in the picture above -- isn't that precious? There's just one slideshow for the two of them. Scroll down to the previous post to watch it.
Remember, almost all of the pictures on this blog link to slideshows. Of course, they don't on this post, but most of them do. ;-)
Today ended up being a busy Saturday, too, so stay tuned for more pictures.
Mariah is the twin sister of Morgan (see post below), who also was here for her senior portraits last Saturday. She has her own slideshow for you to see.
Last Saturday Morgan came in with her sister, Mariah, for their Senior portraits. We were having so much fun that I ended up with tons of images to sort through. I think the hardest thing was telling them apart. The slideshow came out really well, too.
Last week Ally came by for her senior portraits. She's a senior at Dublin Coffman High School and wanted some in-studio portraits. Take a look at the slideshow for more pictures.
Alison came along with Nick (see below) and her Mom for her senior portraits, too. She was wonderful to work with and the heat outside didn't seem to bother her at all. She has a slideshow, too, so make sure to watch it.
Last week Nick came in with his step-sister, Alison, for their senior portraits. We had done his brother's senior portraits a couple years ago so it was nice working with the same parents. The weather was hot -- especially for October. I think we broke some temperature record.
Anyway, there are some more images in his slideshow so be sure to check it out.
Nicole's a senior over at Dublin Coffman. She came in the other day for her senior portraits and we had a great time -- first at the studio and then over at the park. Be sure to check out her slideshow.
Last week, Marissa came all the way from Centerburg for her senior portraits. She was so excited and had spent a lot of time choosing her outfits before she got here. We have fun with seniors and we tend to go long -- but it's always worth it. Take a look at Marissa's slideshow and let her know what you think.
It's been a while since I've posted -- it's been crazy around here. Anyway, this is Rachael, a senior over at Dublin Coffman High School. She came in the other day and we were able to get some great images. Be sure to check out her slideshow and leave a comment below.
Two weeks ago this evening we were over at Thomas Worthington High School to photograph the Football team. They asked us to make a poster with the schedule at the bottom -- you know the posters that are hung in local businesses. They had the entire Thomas Worthington Football program -- from the Seniors down to the 8th grade teams. Of course, the seniors were highlighted in the front and everyone else was in the back.
We were able to deliver 600 posters to them this past Wednesday, which is fast for offset printing. The posters are pretty big -- 18x24 inches, and turned out beautifully.
All you seniors out there -- come in for your senior portraits before September 30 (that's a Thursday) and get $20 off your portrait package -- but you have to mention this Blog post! If you don't tell us about this post before your session, it doesn't count.
Brittany was in for her senior portraits the other day and what a great time that was. She was referred by Holly (Thanks, Holly!) and it couldn't have been better. First we did a few studio pictures. Then we went outside for the ones she really wanted to do. The white dress is one of her favorites and she couldn't wait to wear it. Be sure to see the slideshow -- there are more images there. If you want, leave a comment below. I'll be sure Brittany sees them.
Jenny was in for her senior pictures with her twin brother, Dan (see the post right before this one). She was so much fun to work with and a great model. She's our other ambassador at Dublin Coffman so make sure to get one of her cards before we do your senior pictures. Of course, Jenny has a slideshow, too, so take a look.
It's officially senior season! Dan's another one of our ambassadors. He's at Dublin Coffman high school. He didn't really know what he wanted at first so we just kind of went with the flow. After a while we were more comfortable and things went great.
Remember to ask him for his card to get free stuff when you bring it in for your senior pictures. Check out more images in his slideshow.
Holly and her mom came in last week for her senior portraits and wow, she was great. The weather was beautiful and the clothes she brought were perfect -- a fantastic combination. Her pictures came out wonderfully. I'm so excited to show her the slideshow (and the rest of her pictures, too).
Holly's one of our student reps (aka ambassadors) to Worthington Kilbourne HS. If you're a Junior at Kilbourne (or any other high school) right now, make sure to get a card from her and you'll get some free stuff with your order. We're looking for reps from other area high schools, so if you know any Juniors about to become Seniors, from any area school, have them give us a call. By sending Seniors to us, these students get a free extended session and can earn lots of free stuff. It's a great program because everybody wins.
Earlier this week Jessica came in for her senior portraits. Her mom and a friend came along for support. It seems she had her portraits done at another studio and wasn't pleased with the outcome. No pressure, here, right? ;-) That just happens sometimes, so we thought we'd do some fun portraits inside and at the park. I'm really happy with how these ended up.
Take a look at the slideshow for some more pictures and leave a comment below.
Another senior came in last week. This time it was Ashley. Her yearbook deadline is much later than most schools so the pictures weren't a priority. Gasp! Did I just say that? ;-) Anyway, we had a great time with her portraits.
Today must be the day for Seniors. Here's another guy who came in late last week. I don't know why we're getting so many Seniors right now, but I'm not complaining. We met over at the park and then came here for some studio images.
As I wrote in the last entry, these guys came in together for their senior portraits. We had photographed Andrew's family several months ago. His mom is the sister of the mother of two little girls who we've photographed in the past. Isn't it great how word-of-mouth adverstising works? I find it really interesting.
Anyway, since it was time for Andrew to get his Senior Portraits made (well, a little later than most folks) they came here.
Andy stopped by for his senior portraits last week. Yes, it's pretty late to be getting them, but the yearbook picture had to be done at a specific studio, so there wasn't much of a hurry for them. He came in with his friend, Andrew. It was pretty fun.
Of course, there's a slideshow to see some of his portraits.
Marco's senior portraits turned out so well. His slideshow has been up for a little while and has been really popular. Lots of people have seen it! I suppose that even more will see it now. Here's the link to his slideshow. Enjoy!
Chris came in a couple weeks ago for his senior portraits. He also needed his yearbook picture within two days. While that's pretty last-minute, we were able to get everything all worked out. Here's his slideshow.
Alexandra and her mom came in last week for her senior portraits and she was so much fun. Very easy-going, tried all sorts of poses, and there are some real winners there. Of course, she has a slideshow all to herself, so be sure to check it out and leave a comment.
Last week Lauren stopped by to have her Senior Portraits made. It was great. She was wonderful to be around and just so happy the whole time. After the studio images we went outside and wow -- it was cold! I think we were only out for 10 minutes but my fingers didn't thaw out for an hour. Her slideshow shows a sampling of the images from that day.
Last week Michiko came in for her senior portraits. We always seem to get a bunch of seniors at this time of year.Take a look at her slideshow and leave a comment below.
After Mike came in for his senior pictures, his girlfriend, Bailey, came in for hers. I thought that was pretty cool. She was so easy to work with, I hardly had to do anything. She came up with most of the poses herself.Of course, she has a slideshow, too. Be sure to check it out and leave a comment.
Thomas came over for his senior photos a few days ago and was great. They didn't really want any outside pictures, but we did a few, anyway. We're pushy like that. No, not really.
Andria's senior portraits turned out wonderfully. She came in not really knowing what she wanted or what to wear, so she brought a bit of everything. We started outside at the park and the light was beautiful at that time of the morning. The studio images were great, too, and just for fun she did some of her cheerleading jumps -- how cool is that? Of course, they're all in the slideshow check it out.
Megan came in earlier this week for her senior portraits. She was so much fun and had no problem acting goofy and silly. It made for some wonderful images. The slideshow shows the pictures so much better than I can describe them. Take a look and then leave a comment about it.
Last Friday Richard came over for his senior portraits. He's another one of our ambassadors over at Jerome High School so be sure to ask him for his card. It's worth free prints! Of course, Richard has a slideshow, too.
This morning I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Kathleen for her senior portraits. We met over at a park and luckily the rain held out. It was a bit wet on the ground but everything worked out.Aferwards, we went back to the studio for the indoor pictures, which was a good thing, because it started raining again. We really lucked out with the weather this morning. Here's Kathleen's slideshow. Normally we don't get them done this quickly but she's going out of town tomorrow and I wanted to give her a chance to see them before she left.
Our second senior this year was Bryan, also one of our ambassadors. He's over at Dublin Jerome HS. You know how some people just can't give you a serious face? Bryan's one of those people. We managed to get a few, but he was mostly laughing and smiling, which was fantastic. His attitude was great and we got some great images. You can see his slideshow here.
We're starting in on the season for Senior Portraits. We've had a few people in so far and the results have been amazing! Stephanie was our first Senior of the year and she was great. She's one of our Ambassadors at Dublin Coffman HS, so ask her to show you her pictures. We had a lot of fun, and, well, just check out her slideshow!
This is pretty close to the final design for the Worthington Kilbourne Baseball poster. I think they turned out pretty cool. These will be up around town next week!
